Install irons

The browser will guide the connection and installation from one page.

Which board do you have?

Use the photo and printed model name to make the selection. Only boards marked Ready can be installed. Bench pending means a firmware build profile exists but physical bring-up is incomplete; Planned boards do not have an installer.

Loading hardware inventory…

Select a supported board above USB provisioning erases existing flash, installs recovery and main, then starts the Irons access point.
Use current Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a desktop computer.

This is first-provision/recovery installation. It replaces the device’s existing flash contents. Routine updates afterward use one .irons file from the device Settings page and preserve maps, polars, tracks and settings.

Desktop browser

Use a current version of Chrome or Microsoft Edge on macOS, Windows, Linux or ChromeOS.

USB-C data cable

Every listed board uses USB-C. The cable must support data, not charging alone.

Board disconnected

Vessel power and network wiring should be disconnected while the board is connected to the computer.
